This American ginseng soup offers a range of traditional wellness benefits: it can help balance yin and yang, clear heat, calm the mind, fight fatigue, enhance immunity, and support better sleep quality. Suitable for all ages; especially helpful for yin deficiency with heat signs, dry mouth, bitter taste, insomnia, and frequent dreams. Contains ginseng, which may reduce breast milk supply — not recommended while breastfeeding.

Pack size: 2-pack dry herbal soup: each individual pack serves 2–3 people (combine for 4–6).

Ingredients:
American ginseng, gordon euryale seed (cishi), ophiopogon tuber, adenophora, polygonatum, sweet apricot kernel, bitter apricot kernel, dried tangerine peel, textured pea protein

How to use

  1. Rinse all ingredients and place in a pot with water (recommended 1.5 litres per individual pack).
  2. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to low and simmer 1–1.5 hours (about 45 min in an Instant Pot).
  3. Adjust water for desired consistency. Optional: add carrots, corn, or blanched chicken/pork. Vegan option: a handful of cashews.

Shipping & delivery

Truly Market ships from our shop in Markham, Ontario. Pickup is available in store. Rates below are in CAD and shown at checkout before you pay.

Order processing

We pack online orders at Truly Market — First Markham Place on business days. The shop is closed Saturday, so orders placed Friday evening or Saturday are packed on Sunday or Monday depending on timing. You will get an email when your order is on its way or ready for pickup.

GTA delivery

We offer Complimentary GTA Delivery on orders of $150 CAD or more (before tax) to selected GTA areas. Delivery is $0 when your address qualifies at checkout. If the cart is under $150, or your address is outside the eligible areas, checkout will show our regular Canada shipping instead.

Canada-wide shipping

We ship across Canada for a flat $15 CAD, typically 3–9 business days after we pack the order. Canada Post options may also appear at checkout depending on the destination. Complimentary GTA Delivery does not replace this rate outside eligible GTA areas, or on carts under $150.

U.S. shipping

United States Shipping — Temporarily Paused

Due to ongoing uncertainty surrounding U.S. tariffs, customs requirements, and import restrictions, we have temporarily paused shipping to the United States.

We are closely monitoring the situation and hope to resume U.S. shipping once the requirements become clearer and we can ensure a smooth and reliable delivery experience for our customers.

International shipping

Hong Kong and Macau: Flat rate $25 CAD, typically 5–10 business days after we pack the order. Complimentary free shipping applies on orders of $600 CAD or more (before tax) to Hong Kong and Macau.

Other international destinations: $30 CAD, typically 6–10 business days. Customs fees, duties, and import taxes are the customer’s responsibility. We do not ship to every country; unavailable destinations will not show a rate at checkout.

Estimated delivery times

  • Pickup at the Markham shop: ready on a business day after we pack, during store hours.
  • Complimentary GTA Delivery: usually a few business days after packing. We will email you when it is out for delivery.
  • Canada: 3–9 business days after packing.
  • Hong Kong / Macau: 5–10 business days after packing.
  • Other international (outside the U.S.): 6–10 business days after packing, plus any customs clearance. U.S. shipping is temporarily paused.

Times start when the order leaves the shop, not when you check out. Perishable and refrigerated items may be held so they travel on the next suitable day.

Tracking

When your order ships, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number and carrier link when the carrier provides one. Local GTA deliveries and in-store pickup may not have a public tracking number; we will still email you when the order is packed or out for delivery. Check spam if you do not see it, or email us with your order number.

Delays and delivery issues

Weather, carrier volume, incorrect addresses, and customs can add time. If a package is marked delivered and you cannot find it, check with neighbours and your building, then contact us within 48 hours and we will open a carrier trace. We are not responsible for delays or fees once a parcel is with the carrier or in customs, but we will help you follow up.

If we packed the wrong item or something arrives damaged, photograph the parcel and email us. Food, supplements, and personal care that have been opened generally cannot go back; see our refund policy.
