Chuan bei (Sichuan fritillary) transforms phlegm, eases cough, and clears heat while moistening dryness — combined with Chinese yam and snow pear to nourish and moisten the lungs.

Sweet apricot kernel, bitter apricot kernel, chuan bei, dried Chinese yams, dried pear, dried mushroom, dried figs, textured pea protein

How to use

1. Rinse all ingredients and place in a pot with water (recommended 1.5 litres per individual pack).
2. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to low and simmer 1–1.5 hours (about 45 min in an Instant Pot).
3. Adjust water for desired consistency. Optional: add carrots, corn, or blanched chicken/pork. Vegan option: a handful of cashews.
