From Empordà in Catalonia, Spain, Auream is made exclusively from 100% Argudell olives, a native variety of the region.

Certified under the Oli de l’Empordà Protected Designation of Origin (DOP), this is a beautifully expressive Spanish EVOO with fresh green character and a balanced bitterness and peppery finish.

Expect notes of fresh grass, tomato leaf, green tomato, almond and a touch of banana, finishing gently sweet.

We especially like this one when the olive oil is meant to be tasted rather than hidden — over tomatoes, grilled vegetables, white fish, Mediterranean rice or simply good bread.
